The Nigeria Union of Teachers, on Saturday, said 23 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory have implemented the 65-year-old retirement age for teachers.
The National President of the union, Titus Amba, stated in a report obtained by our correspondent in Abuja.
In 2020, former President Muhammadu Buhari announced the new retirement age for teachers.
The retirement age was increased from 60 to 65 years.
