Andy Briggs is a hard man to miss.
Yet being blessed with such a towering stature, which helped him into the England under-20s volleyball squad in his youth, has its drawbacks.
Briggs has developed a bad back over the years and now does personal training first thing in the morning twice a week to tackle the problem.
“I’m 58 now, so I decided I need to get my act together,” he says.
