Edo guber poll: Constitute transition team — Obaseki tells Governor-elect Okpebholo

Thirty days to the end of his tenure as governor of Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki has asked the governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, to constitute a transition team. Obaseki opined that the constitution of the transition team by the incoming government was geared towards interfacing with the transition team of his outgoing administration.

DAILY POST reported that Governor Godwin Obaseki would be ending his two-term tenure of eight years on November 12, 2024. “To facilitate this process, we invite you and your party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, to initiate the formation of your transition team at your earliest convenience.
