Food price: Cost of healthy diet drops – NBS

The National Bureau of Statistics has said the cost of a Healthy Diet declined on a Month-on-month basis to N1,255 per day in August 2024 from N1,265 in July amid high prices of food. NBS disclosed this in its recent Cost of a Healthy Diet, CoHD data released on its official website.

The data comes as Nigeria’s headline and food inflation stood at 32.15 percent and 37.
