The governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, has donated $10,000 for the reconstruction of a mosque in Damagaram, Niger Republic.
The special adviser to the governor on political matters, Ya’u Umar Gwajo-gwaj, disclosed this on Friday.
He said the governor’s donation was to help the neighbouring country reconstruct the mosque into a more modern and standard one.
“This Mosque will contribute towards instilling Islamic moral discipline in our people, and it will assist in addressing many social ills in our society,” the governor’s aide said.
