The lawmaker representing Borno South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Ali Ndume, has urged President Bola Tinubu to tackle the hardship suffered by citizens before it is too late.
In a statement released in Abuja on Friday, Ndume claimed that certain bad actors close to Tinubu are responsible for pushing harmful reforms and policies which are aimed at destabilising the government.
He added, “I’m appealing to him (Tinubu) to resist these bad people who want to pitch the people against his administration.
People are really suffering, hungry, frustrated, and angry.
”According to the senator, many families in Borno can’t feed themselves anymore, adding that the hardship caused by frequent price increases was unimaginable.
That’s why I’m begging him (Tinubu) to do something before it is too late.
