The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed the murder of 40-year-old Adeleke Adeyinka, the All Progressives Congress councillorship candidate, for Abeokuta South Local Government.
DAILY POST had reported that the deceased, a former youth leader of Abeokuta South Local Government, was aspiring for the post of councilor of Ward 15 in the forthcoming November 16 local government elections.
The assailants opened fire, killing 40-year-old Adeyinka Adeleke who was left dead at the scene before the perpetrators fled to an unknown location.
