Nigerian Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, has admitted that some of the policies the government implemented so far have caused Nigerians pain, but he and his principal, President Bola Tinubu, have no options.
The Vice President said this in Abuja on Monday during the 30th anniversary of the Nigerian Economic Summit while defending the current administration's economic policies and highlighting steps taken by the government to improve the economy.
He continued: “My heart and the heart of President Bola Tinubu go to the Nigerian people.
