Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun, says the economic policies of the President Bola Tinubu administration are “designed to foster long term stability and sustainable growth”.
Speaking in Abeokuta on Tuesday, Abiodun said the policies require “collective commitment and sacrifice” from Nigerians.
Abiodun said the challenges facing the country are real and require “immediate and sustained action”.
“The president’s economic policies are designed to foster long-term stability and sustainable growth, and they require our collective commitment and sacrifice from all of us.
”He added that Nigeria is paying for years of misguided policies and poor governance.
“As an administration, we recognize the gravity of the socio-economic situation in Nigeria today,” Abiodun added.
