UK to France: Tinubu on leave, can go anywhere he desires – Presidency

The Presidency has replied to reactions trailing the departure of President Bola Tinubu from the United Kingdom to France, saying the President is still on a two-week leave. The Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, had in a statement on October 2, announced Tinubu’s departure for a two-week vacation.

Onanuga’s short statement had read, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave. Masari said that he had the honour of visiting President Tinubu at his private residence in the UK, where they engaged in productive discussions before departing for Paris.
