Wike can only set fire in my state if I’m not strong – Fayose

Ayodele Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State, has suggested the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, can only set fire on states where the governors are not in total control. He suggested that such a fire cannot burn in a state with a strong governor who has nothing to hide.

DAILY POST recalls that Wike, while speaking at the PDP secretariat in Port Harcourt, the state capital, during the party’s state congress, warned the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governors to stay clear of the party’s affairs in Rivers. He threatened to set fire and cause a political crisis in the state of any PDP governor pushing for the Rivers State governor, Sim Fubara to take over the structures of the party in the state.
